Bah.  I added the ^4 after I'd already included it in the email :-P.

  Some math formulae:

  y = x_1^2 + x_2^2

  y^2 = 2x^2 + 1

  z_2 = x_1 + x_2 + 2 (y_1 + y_2 + r)^4
