Subject: org-plot jumps over empty columns
Date: Thu, 12 Mar 2015 08:17:49 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <87twxq4u42.fsf@ok8aw.ok8> (raw)
Hi,
this is my first post to this newsgroup and it is a negative one (bug
report)! :-(
So I start with sending my kudos to all developers. Big thanks! :-)
Problem:
It seems that org-plot/gnuplot assumes there is a non-empty value
on each row of the table.
Org-plot/gnuplot jumps over empty columns and picks up the value
from the first non-empty column when executed.
In the example below where column 7 should be plotted, the last two
values are taken from column 8.
If I change the column to be plotted from 7 to 8, all values are
taken from column 9.
Test also plotting column 11 or 12.

#+PLOT: set:"xdata time"
#+PLOT: set:"timefmt '%Y-%m-%d'"
#+PLOT: set:"format x '%b %Y'"
