Well, if that's the case, passing nil as last argument of=20 `comp--native-compile' would still work. Being able to do (setq comp-enable-subr-trampolines=20 'compile-but-no-output) would be quite practical. The temporary=20 file would be created by `make-temp-file', according to the value=20 of `temporary-file-directory', and we wouldn't have to worry about=20 specifying some exact location ourselves (but being still able to=20 so with the string value, as you've proposed, could prove useful=20 in some cases as well).
