Nobody decided anything. Eli and others have to keep an eye on that what people contribute fits into Emacs and doesn't cause problems in the future. That's why questions have been raised. Personally I still would like to know if you had a look at Calc, why you think that it doesn't suffice, which purpose your library aims at, etc etc. You started a discussion, valid questions and concerns have been raised in response, and you just don't answer them, you ignore valid questions. What do you expect? That emacs-dev completely ignores any valid question and concerns? Or only when the author is Emanuel Berg? Why don't you answer those few simple questions if you want to have an explicit "Go!" from here? Instead you are flooding this thread with sarcasm and insinuations. Please stop that, and please don't take everything directly personally. > But for the record I'm 100% confident I could do it and have > a great result. Which is very good but obviously, not enough for anyone to say blindly, "yes, in any case we will integrate the result in Emacs". How could that be? Apart from that, if you work on anything and it fits into Emacs or Elpa I am 100% sure that your contribution, any contribution from you, will be accepted. I know the people around here for a while and nobody here who decides tends to personal feuds. I don't know why you think that this is the case just because there were valid doubts and questions raised, like would be in any other case as well. Which - not unimportant - also helps contributors not to waste their time. Michael.
