There is a org-follow-link-hook that I think could be used. However, there is a limitation that not all links lead to org files, so there needs to be some check that the actual destination is an org-file. I was also wondering if there can be a conflict if the buffer is already open and narrowed, and that that could cause issues. Sincerely, -- Marc
