By the way, files copied with the C command are also the same rosy
pink as files marked with m, but ! doesn't act on them of course.

You need a different color for each type of marking, or at least
distinctive colors for files to be affected by !, and files to be
affected by x.

Maybe don't even color the files made by C, if you are short on colors.
