I don't recall Yamamoto-san ever complaining that the NS port is in and the Mac port is out. He's just understandably exasperated that every time a third party suggests including it, somebody who is not a Mac developer says that it uses Carbon APIs, and since Apple has deprecated Carbon APIs, that makes it a dead end anyway. The first clause of that argument is a whole truth, the second a half-truth, and the conclusion is bunk.
