I do not see any reference for the function= ality > that scales text in response to window resizing. You have an old checkout? I'm on a pretty recent HEAD and docstring of text-scale-adjust links to global-text-scale-adjust. This command is a special-purpose wrapper around the =E2=80=98text-scale-increase=E2=80=99 command which makes repetition co= nvenient even when it is bound in a non-top-level keymap. For binding in a top-level keymap, =E2=80=98text-scale-increase=E2=80=99 or =E2=80=98text-scale-decrease=E2=80=99 may be more appropriate. Most faces are affected by these font size changes, but not faces that have an explicit =E2=80=98:height=E2=80=99 setting. The two excep= tions to this are the =E2=80=98default=E2=80=99 and =E2=80=98header-line=E2=80= =99 faces: they will both be scaled even if they have an explicit =E2=80=98:height=E2=80=99 setting. See also the related command =E2=80=98global-text-scale-adjust=E2=80=99. Probably introduced at or before Emacs version 28.1. [back] [forward]
