Sorry we talked about something like this already, but: Cut a line
from a Makefile and paste it into a *Shell* buffer and hit RET.  Bash
will go bonkers (spitting out all combos (all the names of the
commands on the system)) due to the TAB at front.  Try it.

This has been fixed in CVS.  Bash is now started with --noediting to
disable readline editing.
