However, Tramp uses the same wording as the original functions it provides handlers for. As a consequence, a user would see the message "Rename =E2=80=98old=E2=80=99 to =E2=80=98new=E2=80=99" for local files, an= d "Rename `old' to `new'" for remote files. This looks inconsistent.
