There's a couple of other fcitx-related bug reports (21456, for
instance), but those are about not being able to make Emacs respect the
input method.
I'm unable to reproduce the problem described in this bug report, but
then again, I haven't been able to even use fcitx (it doesn't seem to be
very well documented?), so...
