Remember to cover the basics, that is, what you expected to happen and
what in fact did happen. You don't know how to make a good report? See
https://orgmode.org/manual/Feedback.html#Feedback
Your bug report will be posted to the Org mailing list.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Steps to reproduce:
$ emacs -q
Write a file called test.org with the following content:
--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
#+begin_src conf
*.test
#+end_src
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---
Run the command org-edit-src-code, and notice that the contents look
correct. However, when you run the command org-edit-src-exit the org
file shows:
--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
#+begin_src conf
,*.test
#+end_src
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---
Notice that a comma was magically insert at the beginning of the line!
Emacs : GNU Emacs 28.2 (build 1, x86_64-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 3.24.30, cairo version 1.16.0)
Package: Org mode version 9.6 (N/A @ /gnu/store/dqry6gr6wjaabd4v8cl40ab2ganrbn2l-emacs-org-9.6/share/emacs/site-lisp/org-9.6/)

The comma is just an escape symbol. It will not affect anything.
