Subject: How many 'comment-start' chars for 'comment-region'?
Date: Mon, 18 Feb 2013 17:04:31 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <87mwv1k3qo.fsf@gmail.com> (raw)
Hi List,
is there any (major-mode) variable where the number of 'comment-start'
characters used when calling 'comment-region' is defined (I couldn't
find one).
E.g. its two in Emacs Lisp (';; text') but one in LaTeX ('% text').
Or is the only way to find out looking at the code of the respective
major-mode that implements the 'comment-region' function?

cheers,
Thorsten
