With the following test file:
<p>Foo.</p><div id="zot"></div><p>Bar.</p>
M-x eww-open-file RET foo.html RET
You'll get:
[-- Attachment #2: Type: image/png, Size: 4230 bytes --]
[-- Attachment #3: Type: text/plain, Size: 596 bytes --]
This is due to the changes that were made earlier this year to put
placeholder data into the buffer when we have an element with an id that
is empty.
In GNU Emacs 28.0.50 (build 134, x86_64-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 3.24.22, cairo version 1.16.0)
of 2020-09-18 built on xo
