Hi all,

I've used yasnippet from code.google.com's svn for a long time. Now
I've seen that they've moved over to github. So I cloned

  git://github.com/capitaomorte/yasnippet.git

and am now using that. But unfortunately, my snippets don't trigger,
although C-h k TAB says its bound to `yas/expand'.

My configuration is this:

--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
(add-to-list 'load-path "~/repos/el/yasnippet/")
(require 'yasnippet)
(yas/initialize)
(setq yas/snippet-dirs "~/repos/el/yasnippets/")
(yas/reload-all)
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---

In ~/repos/el/yasnippets/, there are my custom snippets that used to
work. For example, there are snippets for message-mode.

--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
  /home/horn/repos/el/yasnippets:

  -rw-r--r-- 1 horn horn  111 23. Jul 22:41 vg
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---

That's the `b' file for example:

--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
#contributor : Tassilo Horn <tassilo@member.fsf.org>
#name : Bye, Tassilo
# --
Bye,
Tassilo
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---

Comparing that to the snippets that ship with yasnippet, the syntax and
structure of the snippet dir seems correct.

Any idea what's wrong or where I should start debugging.

Bye,
Tassilo (typed completely, not expanded :-()

I did the same switch a few days ago.
Seems like the "Filename=Abbrev Key" format is about to be obsolete.

When my snipppets wouldn't expand, I added the `# key: ' directive,
to all my snippets... now it works.

Ah, indeed! I've added a key in all files, now everything works fine.
Thanks a ton.

Bye,
Tassilo
