Hi all,
One of the 5-minute hacks that I showed in my presentation about eev
in the EmacsConf2020 was something that (sort of) converted a sexp
hyperlink like this
(find-emacs-tangents-links "2016" "02" "15" "msg00006" "txtNuEds1ML2n")
to a temporary buffer like this (without the indentation):
# (find-emacs-tangents-links "2016" "02" "15" "msg00006" "txtNuEds1ML2n")
# (find-emacs-tangents-links "2020" "10" "05" "msg00000" "txts2ETp920ql")
# (find-emacs-tangents-links "2018" "01" "29" "msg00025" "txtJ1ftXqItdm")
# (find-efunction 'find-emacs-tangents-links)

It is explained in this video,
http://angg.twu.net/.emacs.videos.html#eev2020
from 43:39 onwards. Here is a partial list of sexp hyperlinks to
issues of the Emacs News:
http://angg.twu.net/e/emacs.e.html#emacs-weekly-news
Please convert that list to other formats and share the result!
Cheers,

P.S.: angry/rude answers will be added to my collection of angry/rude
answer to my e-mails in which I mention eev, and will be displayed
(briefly) in my talk in the next EmacsConf!!! You-know-who, please
don't disappoint me! =P =P =P

Whenever I remember to commit and push, the index.org is also available
from https://github.com/sachac/emacs-news (raw:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/sachac/emacs-news/master/index.org ),
which might be potentially useful for local search or analysis.

I downloaded your web page recursively, if one excludes images
it doesn't take long now matter how immense from a human POV
it seems, I then greped the material for people but also
concepts that came to mind. I did that as a pleasant game but
there is no saying it can't be beneficial for real.
And this method of getting the data is perhaps more convenient
still ... (post commands here, if and when someone tries it!)

Something like:
(use-package elfeed :ensure t)
and either:
(setq elfeed-feeds '("https://sachachua.com/blog/feed/" "
or
(setq elfeed-feeds '("https://sachachua.com/blog/feed/"))
is pretty good IMO.

Alrighty, cool! But that's maybe an answer to another
question, or was I the one who started it? But it doesn't
matter, there is no relevant or irrelevant information, just
information that's boring and information that's interesting.
But, I'm looking for a shell command to get the whole body of
text to the disk. Since it was in some repository I thought
that would be simpler than what I did, as I recall it required
fiddling with a lot of options before I succeeded.
That function is still around if I can find it ...
Ah, here it is:
echo ${${${(z)${"${(f)$(curl -s -I $url)}"[1]}}[2,-1]}%%$'\r'}
No, just kidding. That command ... ??? But the function's name
helps
https://dataswamp.org/~incal/conf/.zsh/url
LOL :)
