Artur hasn't indicated if he wants to add it in the core as a package (also released on the ELPAs) or just a macro or not at all. I would change the package name to `let-assoc' so it starts with the thing it resembles, but otherwise I still think it would be useful. Artur, can you please decide either way? I think, given the namespace discussion happening in parallel, you should release your code as it stands and release a newer version when you figure out how to deal with nesting (using namespaces, gensyms, whatever).
