(That is not very recommenable for hebrew since C-s would give C-ד. However for latin-1 it is ok, till recently I must say. Now when I have us/intl activated and press the key: It's shift+ the key two keys to the right of L then I obtain is undefined So pressing that key and say a does not result in ä Xev tells me KeyPress event, serial 39, synthetic, NO, window 0x5a0001 state 0x2001, keycode 0 (keysym 0xa8, diarersis), same_screen Yes XMBLookupstring gives 2 bytel (c2 a8) "¨" This is not strictly a GNU emacs question, but if somebody know about it I would be grateful.
