I set erc-auto-query to frame, but when somebody talks to me in AIM,
for example, then I see no frame popping up.
bitlbee sends "othernick: foo" into the #bitlbee channel when somebody
talks to me in AIM.
It seems that perhaps there could be an erc hook for intercepting this
case.
Thanks,
Kai

Kai,
Try, in bitlbee, "set private on".
That should work.

Hey, sounds really cool. I did this now, but I don't know yet if it
works.
[time passes]
Ah, I just tried from my wife's computer. Works great. Now the next
stupid question: how to close the window again? Perhaps it is not
enough to just close the frame (C-x 5 0) since then further messages
might appear in a buffer that doesn't show up.
Hm. Does it work to kill the buffer (C-x k RET) and the frame (C-x 5
0)?
Or is there an ERC command such as "/leave *"? (I tried this one, it
doesn't work.)
