I was going to say "It's highly unlikely that it would be the same code any more" but actually checking the ChangeLog, the word scrollbar is mentioned about 2 dozen times, of which over half are associated with logs of the form "will GCC *ever* shut up? warning suppression" :-) so I have to confirm your guess. So while I appreciate Jan's compliment, whatever it is that's better, it's not the scrollbars themselves.
