Hm in the old days of pre mule, I am pretty sure emacs opened these
files correctly.

iconv -f ISO8859-8 -t UTF-8
AND
iconv -f CP1255 -t UTF-8
Work
is CP1255 and iso8859-8 the SAME coding?
