I found = out if I try to set the value of a built-in variable, I get a lisp error. e= .g., "export PWD=3Dsome-directory" raises error "eshell-set-variable: Varia= ble =E2=80=98PWD=E2=80=99 is not settable". That is fine, I suppose, but I was wondering: In eshell, is there some way = to do something with the exception, rather than just report it, or trap it = in the debugger? Some hook, maybe...? It would be neat, e.g., if I could ex= amine the error, then decide if I wanted to continue on with the rest of th= e script, or abort. --=20 =F0=9F=93=9B Christopher Howard =F0=9F=9A=80 gemini://gem.librehacker.com =F0=9F=8C=90 http://gem.librehacker.com =D7=91=D7=A8=D7=90=D7=A9=D7=99=D7=AA =D7=91=D7=A8=D7=90 =D7=90=D7=9C=D7=94= =D7=99=D7=9D =D7=90=D7=AA =D7=94=D7=A9=D7=9E=D7=99=D7=9D =D7=95=D7=90=D7=AA= =D7=94=D7=90=D7=A8=D7=A5
