Subject: bug#15493: 24.3; Info node on advising functions out of date
Date: Mon, 30 Sep 2013 13:15:17 +0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <87fvsm25u2.fsf@pellet.i-did-not-set--mail-host-address--so-tickle-me> (raw)

I'm using the archlinux emacs package. Looking at the info section on
advising functions, I realized it seems to be out of date with the
actual code. Specifically, all the functions in the "(elisp) Argument
Access in Advice" node should be named *-argument(s), not *-arg(s), and
the function arguments are off: there are two args, not one.

In GNU Emacs 24.3.1 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 3.8.2)
 of 2013-08-07 on -mnt-storage-buildroots-staging-i686-eric

 `configure '--prefix=/usr' '--sysconfdir=/etc' '--libexecdir=/usr/lib'
 '--localstatedir=/var' '--with-x-toolkit=gtk3' '--with-xft'

 --param=ssp-buffer-size=4'
 'LDFLAGS=-Wl,-O1,--sort-common,--as-needed,-z,relro'
