I failed to verify this, there was no GNU Emacs app on iPhone/iOS and I cannot use the terminal emulator apps to ssh to the server and try Emacs from there, since for that to work authentication assets would have to be brought over from the desktop to the smartphone. And, because I don't really care for Emacs or Unix shells on smartphones, I won't bother - not now anyway. I used to have a lovely Sony phone on Android, however it was recently disintegrated. I assume that is where the GNU Emacs app is to be found?
