On the Mac icons, please confirm that FSF has papers from all three
authors: Seiji Zenitani, Takanori Yamamoto and Kentaro Ohkouchi.  I
just heard that FSF copyright administrator received Mr. Ohkouchi's
paper.

Then, please install attached three files (Emacs.icns, document.icns,
Info.plist) to the following places in the emacs source tree.  The
files are also available from http://svn.sourceforge.jp/cgi-bin/
viewcvs.cgi/zenitani/CarbonEmacs/Resources/?root=macwiki#dirlist .

  * Info.plist --> mac/Emacs.app/Contents/
  * Emacs.icns --> mac/Emacs.app/Contents/Resources/
  * document.icns --> mac/Emacs.app/Contents/Resources/

ChangeLog entry and a NEWS blurb.  here is my attempt, please

you can see etc/NEWS for example of what to write (and where).

OS-X-style icons (an application icon and a relevant document icon)
were contributed by Kentaro Ohkouchi.
