I donʼt object to this approach, but I have a couple of points:
- If the user hasn't enabled the server, then this starts emacs in
daemon mode, which needs to be documented somewhere, possibly in
the .desktop file
- Can you document that enabling the server is a pre-requisite
(modulo the daemon behaviour)?
