Are you sure it's emacs? If it's emacs that's cutting the lines, then it may be the customizable variable default-fill-column. But if you are in an inferior lisp REPL with an Common Lisp, then it's the *PRINT-RIGHT-MARGIN* variable. -- __Pascal Bourguignon__
