There doesn't seem to be any settings beyond that...? John Mastro answered this question (you need to adjust your `auto-mode-alist'). I just wanted to tell that there is no need to add (require 'syslog-mode) to your .emacs. Syslog-mode will be automatically loaded. -- Alex
