Subject: dogged by underlines
Date: 02 Jul 2002 02:30:44 +0800 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <87adpbcncb.fsf@jidanni.org> (raw)
Can't shake off those underlines. Do C-h b and copy a piece of
underlined text into the kill ring, paste it somewhere, and start
typing right after it... the underlines will follow you around.
C-h b C-x o C-s c - a C-k C-k C-x b z <return> C-y
s d s C-p C-e s d s d s <return> s d s d s d s <return>
s d s d s <return> <return> <return> s d s d s <return>
<return> <return> <return> s d s d s <return> s d s
d s
The user didn't do (facemenu-set-underline) but copying that little
chunk polluted what he typed afterwards. Wish those underlines would
stay put.
