I've pushed a change to master, which rewrites the connection-local
variables feature. `class' is now called `profile', and a criteria is
now a plist with property names :application, :protocol, :user and
:machine.

See (info "(elisp) Connection Local Variables")

I haven't added the interface to customization (yet); this will follow
next days.

If you need other/changed interfaces, let me know. Bug reports are also
welcome :-)
