Uicode "Heavy Minus Sign" closes Emacs 26.1 immediately without asking
on Debian 10

M-x insert-char  2796

Same with copy & paste  U+2796

I'm unable to reproduce this problem in Emacs 26 on Debian/bullseye.  Is
this with "emacs -Q"?

Can you run emacs under gdb and post the backtrace you get from the
crash?

Just say

gdb emacs
run

To get a backtrace after it's crashed, say "bt".

OK, then I guess it seems unlikely that there'll be any further progress
in this bug report, and I'm closing it (especially since the bug seems
to be gone in subsequent Emacs releases).  If anybody else sees this
problem, please respond to the debbugs address and we'll reopen.
