I usually do not have enough windows open to warrant a better keybinding/command than C-x o with repeat-mode enabled. If I do, I have three columns of windows (some dedicated) and in these times, I find it better to use the touchpad with mouse-autoselect-window enabled. I am not sure if I will ever use C-x 4 ARROW given the length compared with C-x o though, even with a repeat-map. OTOH, I think I will use a shorter keybinding for C-- C-x o, maybe C-x O.
