I find C-x C-c really easy. I just hold down the control with my right pinky and then just c and then x with the second and third fingers of my left hand. What I like is my hands are pretty much still on the home keys row. With any of the function keys, I have to move my hand up to them, moving away from the home keys. I use a standard qwerty keyboard. For anyone using divorak or some other keyborad layout, milage may vary. However, in general, I think moving away from the home row/keys usually reduces speed and is less convenient. (likewise, I use to like the VI movement keys because I could easily move around the buffer without having to move off the main keyborad. I use to find the need to hit ESC to change modes a bit annoying for the same reasons. Tim -- tcross (at) rapttech dot com dot au
