I've tried everything but prayer... but not seeing how to reference
that in a message.

not:
(message "hello"(load-file-name))
 
not:
(message "hello" '(load-file-name))

not
(message "Hello" 'load-file-name)

not
(message "Hello" load-file-name)

A few others too ridiculous to print...
