The replacement function for `XScreenNumberOfScreen' needs to be built
with `XLIB_ILLEGAL_ACCESS' to work in many modern versions of Xlib. It
was ostensibly introduced by:
1993-08-13 Richard Stallman (rms@mole.gnu.ai.mit.edu)
* configure.in: Check for XScreenNumberOfScreen.
commit 404daac1a18eb89ba78cd007af3f974ab5e9d93e
Author: Richard M. Stallman <rms@gnu.org>
Date: Fri Aug 13 22:16:38 1993 +0000
(XScreenNumberOfScreen): New function.
However, I'm not aware of any still-extant versions of Xlib that need
this replacement function. If you indeed wrote this function, Richard,
could you tell me what system it was for?
Thanks.
