A=Answered (actually replied), as specified by `gnus-replied-mark'.
Unfortunately all that means is that, as far as Gnus knows, you've sent
a reply. It can't know if the reply was silently dropped.

Do you have to explicitly ask for authorization, or is it supposed to
ask for authorization on first post?
