* rmail: multiple mailboxes without babyl

With rmail no longer using babyl format, what is the best way to have multiple
mailboxes?  With older Emacs, I have multiple rmail files, each uniquely
associated with one inbox, by means of that inbox being named in the rmail
file.

With mbox format, that isn't possible, so what should I do?
