Change in font color

Change in font color

Is there a way to change the font colors in a particular document. For 
instance, I have this document called "notes" where I want few lines in 
green and few in orange. I use facemenue-set-foreground command to set the 
font color. But the color change is only temporary. If I close the file and 
reopen it, the color is back to normal i.e. black background and white 
fonts.

Use enriched-mode.

Strange, it works fine here. When you open the file in another editor/viewer,
does it look something like this:

Content-Type: text/enriched
Text-Width: 78

<x-color><param>green</param>This is green</x-color>


<x-color><param>orange</param>This is orange</x-color>

?
