Therefore I made the alternative proposal to add another file name handler which is responsible for the en-/decryption part. Combined with Tramp, it shall work for all remote connection types. There is the proposal to use encfs for this purpose. I haven't played with this yet, but it sounds interesting. Together with that guy, I will try to do a proof-of-concept. Let's see where we end.
