IIUC, pretest on MS-DOS should have 3 numbers, nop ?

Well, I don't really see what you mean. IIUC :
- MS-DOS : 22.1
- MS-DOS pretest : 22.1.50
- Linux : 22.1.42
- Linux pretest : 22.1.50.42

What do I have missed ?
