Tom,
sorry nobody has taken this up so far.
In my own case, although I used to use the latex code -> png feature
often in the early days, I now never export latex code to html,
preferring to simply export to PDF and provide a link to that. So I
don't even have any useful test cases to play with.
By the way, I'm a UoA alumnus (BSc Applied Math and MSc Comp Sci). Say
hello to my alma mater for me please!
