Menus, e.g. toolbar menus such as "Buffers", "Edit" etc. are not showing
up. Sometimes a line is visible at the top left of the screen.
This was reported for earlier versions of emacs, but it doesn't seem to
be fixed yet.
Console reports a bunch of GTK errors:
