Message-ID: <871x0z9tkw.fsf@vh213602.truman.edu> (raw)
The Calc prefix has now been changed to `C-x *'.
I'd like to mention the new prefix in the News file where the
inclusion of Calc is mentioned.
I know some people are going to rebind the prefix; the function to
bind is `calc-dispatch':
(global-set-key "PREFIX" 'calc-dispatch)
A standard way of starting Calc was `M-# M-#' (`calc-same-interface');
now that can be done with `C-x * *'.
So that people with other prefixes can start it by doubling the last
character of the prefix, `PREFIX *', `PREFIX #', `PREFIX =',
`PREFIX \', `PREFIX +', `PREFIX -', `PREFIX /' and `PREFIX &' also
work.
