But it's not for the faint hearted, so I'm careful with my recommendations. For the record: I've used gnus for NNTP since 1990 or thereabouts, and for all of my email from 1996. And I've been using CVS Gnus, and later git Gnus, since 1997. So it _is_ fully usable... but it requires a certain mindset...
