Yes. It appears in emacs-30.50.0 but not emacs-29.3. And also it appears for symmetric and non-symmetric encryption. I am using gpg-2.2.18. I have attached two screenshots. A. screenshot-emacs-30.50.0.png =============================== The icon is visible to the left of the 'U' in the mode-line The icon disappears after the password is entered.
