Indeed, C-c RET n is a better fit, given the existing C-c C-n. Thank you. I've installed this patch. We still need to apply your fix to diff-vc-deduce-fileset before we can close this bug. I think we are agreed that anything cleverer should wait until we have a clearer idea for how it could work. -- Sean Whitton
