Greetings!
I wonder how I can turn off the highlight line when selecting articles
in the gnus summary buffer.
I took a look at the `gnus-summary-highlight', but it seems to customize
the font highlight rather than the selecting line.

Have you checked the gnus-visual variable?
That might be what you mean by the above, but I'm not sure.

It is gnus-visual that I was looking for. thx
But it is strange that the hl-line in the summary is automatically
enabled when turning on the article-highlight (it controls headers'
faces).
