Subject: Please don't edit NEWS on the emacs-30 branch
Date: Sun, 30 Jun 2024 21:08:56 +0300 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <86y16mfglj.fsf@gnu.org> (raw)
Everybody,
Please don't edit NEWS form now until I say it's okay to edit it
again. The reason is that I'm going through the file and making
changes, both in wording and in the order of the items, and update the
manuals as I go, so any changes in NEWS by others will get in the way.
I apologize for not announcing this before explicitly. There were
messages in which Stefan Kangas said that he and myself are working on
this file, and I thought it was enough. I was wrong.
