I wrote that we should carefully discuss this and other ideas, and asked to present each such idea's design in enough detail to have a useful and concrete discussion of each idea. (And no, showing the code doesn't cut it, because the design is not always easy to grasp quickly, and because the code might not implement the design you have in mind, for various reasons.)
