Subject: (dired "/etc/cron.*" "-alR") doesn't do the -R thing
Date: 16 Jun 2002 10:59:44 +0800	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <86sn3o2ajj.fsf@jidanni.org> (raw)

Bad news fellas, (dired "/etc/cron.*" "-alR") doesn't do the -R thing,
due to the * I suppose. ls -Ral /etc/cron.* indeed shows what I want
on debian. Emacs 21.2

By the way, (find-grep-dired "/etc/cron.*" "bla") fails for no good
reason, and one can't even type the * in the minibuffer without a
fight which in the end you lose and resort to modifying
repeat-complex-command's.
